New tech...
So on Sunday, we purchase a new Sanyo 19" flat panel HDTV. Picture and sound quality are really good.
However, I've got one problem...
The cable video and sound are terrific -- video coming in through the S-video, sound through the red/white RCA cables. That's block Video 1.
However, the DVD recorder's having the difficulties.
I'm using the Blue/green/red component cables for the video -- no problems there. Video playback is great. However, the problem is with the audio. I'm using the red/white RCA cables for audio. I get nothing. Nada. Zip.
I've tried swapping around ports between Video 2 and Video 3, which have the components plugs...
I tried looping it back through the way it was set up originally, with the DVD records output going as an aux input to the cable box -- no joy... no video/sound
