Feel a whole lot better...
So yesterday, I reported that I felt like complete and absolute crap, right? Dull, non-specific headache that lead to feelings of being off-center and off-balance, combined with nausea and the inability to truly concentrate on what's going on.
So I went home from work at around 415p, stopped off at Colleen's school to tell her that I would be at home, stopped to get some ginger ale for the nausea, and then arrived at home. After putting a load of laundry into the washer, I got myself into comfies, turned on the TV in the bedroom, left the lights off, put a small blanket over my eyes, and zoned.
A little while later, I heard this little voice beside the bed. I looked over and saw that Colleen and Marcus had arrived at home. Getting a hug from the little one always makes me feel better.
My temp was normal, I just felt extremely run down and crappy.
By the time I made dinner after Marcus was in bed, the stomach was feeling back to normal. The headache remained, but a dose of ibuprofen at dinner, Tylenol PM before bed, and half a pint of B&J Vanilla Caramel Fudge followed by sleep fixed that. I feel much better this morning... apart from the sniffles and the cough.
And I'm not going to do dextromethorphin to counter the cough for a while. I think it aggravated my chronic GI condition and made life rather uncomfortable for a few days.
