Weekend update
Okay, I know it's not quite over and done with yet, but since I have the chance...
Friday:
There was an Ice Cream Social at![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
silvara77's school, and she volunteered to do some work with it. She ended up on the chocolate syrup table, but not for long. There was a bit of mingling with some of the parents, more on her effort than mine, and I decided to step outside for some air for a little while. Not much on the exciting front that night, but it was a nice, relaxing evening.
Also managed to get reunited (after a fashion) with an old friend of mine. Folks who actually read this, meetdevlin0906.
Saturday:
silvara77 went to a scrapbooking party at a local church while I went off and did the gaming thing. Her party went on until about 9pm, so we got home rather late. Since it was a damp evening with a slight chill in the air, I decided to open the large bottle of Drambuie that I got in Jamaica, and had a small amount before bed. The stuff tingles at first, but I love the aftertaste. (If you've never had it, Drambuie is a Scottish sprit... whisky infused with heather honey and herbs.) Also gives a nice warm feeling in the throat.
Sunday:
silvara77 did her usual church thing this morning, so I just did a quick run up to the market to get her some bagels, and a few other things for during the week. This afternoon, she'll be working on her room (with me helping to move the heavy things) while I work on getting the living room and dining table in order.
Tomorrow I tackle the kitchen.
