What a morning...
Sometime in the wee hours of the day, a tandem trailer decided to turn over and face the wrong way on 495N near the Rt 117 Bolton/Stow exit.
Come 815am, the mess was still there.
Idiot me figured I'd be able to get through it with just a little more than minimal hassle.
Wrong.
There was another accident on 290E, which caused a backup that sort of blended into the backup getting onto 495. I get caught up in that. It took me over an hour of sitting in traffic to get onto 495N.
I think I spent nearly another hour on 495 to get to where the truck was supposed to be... but it cleared up by the time I got there.
I got into work at 1045 this morning. Gyah!


Brother in law is up for a few days.

Gotta go to Medical Center tomorrow morning and swallow a pill so they can read my thyroid six hours later. I'll be spending only a half day at work.

Feeling rather, well... physically detached from things. Almost woozy. Nyquil hangover? Headache's not going away, either, and I did take some cold meds when I got in.

I took 190 when I heard the accident.

I should have, but by the time I thought of it, I was already in the thick of it and couldn't turn around to head for 190. All I could do is ride it out, as it were.
