Well, it looks like I've been put on a 6+ month-long contract as a PC tech in Dudley, MA. The company is Gentex Optics.
I start at 8am on Monday 2 February. First project detail I'll be on is an XP migration. If I do well enough, I could be kept on longer as either a contractor or be brought on as a hired employee.
Not too shabby, eh?

According to Mapquest, it should take me about 26 minutes to get to the site. That said, I'll expect about 35 minutes each way. Not too shabby.
The town's right between Webster and Sturbridge, so all I have to do is nip down 395 to Rt 16 and through Webster.

I -might- be able to update my LJ while at work, but don't bet the farm on it... at least not for the first couple of weeks or so.
