Pink's Life
Okay, when I considered a cooldown from the oppressive hot-n-muggies, this is not quite what I asked for. I was thinking more along the lines of mid to upper 70s, perhaps a mild breeze to keep things from getting stagnant or too warm, some sun with a few clouds... Instead we get a cold front that moves through and drops us nearly 30 degrees in no time at all. I thought I was going to need a jacket last night as I left work around 1800. Gads!
On a bright note, I just got my Christmas vacation approved. So from 23 December through 2 January, Colleen, Marcus and I will be out of state, spending time with C's family in Virginia. This should prove to be interesting with the kiddo and all.
So plans for tonight:
- Dishes
- Cleaning the kitchen area
- Cooking. Haven't done this in days. Not because of the heat, but because of donated meals and going out.
- Laundry. I've got metric Jesusloads of this to do.
- Watch a new episode of Good Eats dealing with kabobs. Not to be confused with kebabs.
- Hopefully spend a little time with Marcus, at least with his late night bottle. (Gods, I miss the kiddo. Think about him quite often during the day, with eyes bright and a smile creeping across his face. Hard to believe that we actually have a kid.)
- At some point, crawl into bed or zonk out on the couch for a while after Marcus has been put down.
I need some updated hard print pictures of Marcus here at work. I think it's time to hit a place that prints from digital media this weekend. Got two SD cards with pictures.
