1. Would you rather have a fun job that doesn't pay well or a boring job that does?
Yes. If it's fun, I'd put in the overtime to get the extra bucks.

2. Would you sacrifice your morals for a job?
I don't think so. In fact, my steadfastness in not sacrificing time with my family probably was a minor factor with my last position. Fortunately, I don't have to worry about that here.

3. Would you ever take a job that requires you to be in costume?
Define costume. I've worked in places with a dress code, but never a standard uniform.

4. What is your fantasy job?
RPG design and playtesting.

5. Would you like fries with that?
Depends... what kind of fries, and would you be disgusted if I ate them with mayo?

Haven't done these in a while...

1. Do you have any pets? If so, how many, and what are their names?
We have one cat. Julius the Maine Coon. Real sweetheart, but still isn't too sure of Marcus as yet... then again, Marcus does give him cause for worry.

2. What was your very first pet? Do you remember its name?
A cat named Sylvester. He lived to around 19 or so. I was out of college by the time he passed.

3. Is there an animal you would never have as a pet?
Quite a few, actually... rodents, insects...

4. What common pet have you always wanted but never had? Why not?
A ferret. Mom doesn't like them. I could potentially think about getting one now, but not sure how Julius and Marcus would deal with him.

5. What wild animal (extinct or not) would you own if you didn't have to worry about its adjustment or the cost of captivity?
A wolf. Hands down. Give me a grey wolf.

1. What book or books were special to you in your childhood?
The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy series, Robert Asprin's MythAdventures series... I read a lot as a child, and I was reading those by the 7th grade...

2. What was particularly special or memorable about those books?
They were so imaginative, fresh, funny... and no one else in my grade was reading them at the time.

3. Have you re-read any of them as an adult?
Yep... and since the MYTH books are still going, I'm reading them.

4. If so, were the books as good as you remembered them?

5. What do you think about movies being made out of children's classics (like the Chronicles of Narnia, Lord of The Rings, etc.)?
As long as kids recognize the fact that there are elements from the books that are missing in the movies and it gives them the urge to go and read them, then by all means. As long as it gets kids to read!

2. What are your favorite 3 websites?
LiveJournal, Steve Jackson Games forums, Wikipedia.

3. Do you eat at your computer?

4. Pick one and why - Reading the news online or in a newspaper?

5. How many people are on your instant messenger buddy list?
A bunch... of course some of the people are on more than one service, so I have them each time.

1. When is the last time you became unraveled?
Completely? I don't know. I may be prone to a shouting match, but I've never lost it.

2. What’s the longest trip you’ve taken?
Distance or timewise? Distance would have to be the trip from Morocco to the States when I was just kneehigh to a grasshopper. Timewise? Don't recall. Less than a couple of weeks, I would think.

3. Who is the biggest distraction in your life?
Marcus... since he's soooooo damned cute

4. Do people notice you when you walk into a room?

5. Describe the last time you disappointed someone:
Unfortunately, yesterday. I won't go into details.

Who is your favourite superhero?
Toss-up. Daredevil, Batman, Green Arrow, Hawkeye (RIP), Doctor Strange, Captain America.. Iron Man's cool too...

If you were a superhero, which one would you be?
Arcane, one that I created for a Champions campaign. He's obviously a mage.

Justice League or Injustice League?
Justice League

Which supervillain would you be?
Considering that I don't really look at supervillains in much the same light as I do the heroes, I can't truly answer this one fairly.

If you could have superpowers, what would they be?
Magick. Pure and simple. Backed up with some interesting martial skills.
I know it's a bit late, but I'm playing catchup here...

1. On what day do you celebrate Thanksgiving?
On that Thursday, of couse.

2. How do you traditionally celebrate this food filled holiday?
With family. The morning is spent cooking a couple of dishes to bring to my parents' place. The Macy's parade is on the TV.

3. How do you like your stuffing cooked (in the bird, separately in a dish, store bought, etc.)?
In the bird and in a dish are good, and I've preferred homemade to storebought as of late.

4. What is your favorite dessert to eat on Thanksgiving and who makes it?
As of late, sweet potato pie, made by yours truly from a recipe from Good Eats.

5. Can you name five things you are thankful for?
- Family
- A roof over my head, clothes on my back, food in my belly
- A steady job
- That I'm still alive and kicking
- Did I mention family?

1. What do you do for fun?
Read, RPGs, TV, play with Marcus, sleep, cook, work on possible fiction in my head, work on my RPG campaign (The City) in my head before putting it on paper... also playing Pharoah and Emperor: Rise of the Middle Kingdom from time to time, since they work okay on the laptop.

2. Is there a person from your past you would like to talk to again, even if it would be a potentially painful conversation?
There are some friends from the 'net that I'd like to get in touch with again, as we haven't spoken to each other in a while... nothing bad happened, just lost touch.

3. What is your favorite comfort food?
Chicken casserole, beef stew... meatloaf...

4. What is your preferred form of self-expression? (Do you dance; or express yourself through music, conversation, etc.)
I used to write... I don't play guitar as much as I'd like to... guess LJ is the top contender right now.

5. You just received $5000; what do you spend it on?
A new PC... and stuff for Marcus.

1. If you had all the money in the world and could choose to own anything, what you would get and why?
A nice house, still close to Worcester, with a little land around it. I want Marcus to grow up in comfortable surroundings. I'll help design the bloody thing too.

2. If you were to do something that scares you, what would it be?
Skydiving, preferably a HALO jump.

3. What was your first pet?
Cat named Sylvester. Lived to like 18 or 19, passed on via natural causes.

4. What's the farthest you've traveled?
Morocco to USA.

5. If you were a season, which one would you be and why?
Fall. I love the energies that fall has, plus there's a constant smell of woodsmoke in the evenings.

Extra one: If you were a song, which one would you be and why?
Anything with good bluesy guitar work... or most Pink Floyd songs. Go figure.

1. What kind of computer do you have? (Mac, iBook, Dell, etc.)
- Pentium III 800 Mhz, 640MB RAM with two HDDs over 100GB apiece. Currently inoperable, still researching why.
Got it as part of my A+/Networking class, built by a mom-and-pop sort of place, I think. Not a brand name.
- Toshiba Satellite laptop, Celeron 600MHz. Mostly used by Colleen.

2. How old is it? Are you happy with it?
- Got it in September 2001, so it's about five years gold. For the most part, yes. Right now, though, no.

3. How many computers are in your household? (at home if you are away at school)
- Two desktops that are/were operational, one laptop.

4. What are your favorite games/timewasters on your computer?
- Apart from LJ and email? CSI, Dungeon Siege, The Sims... also use it for RPG software (eTools, HeroDesigner, Metacreator)

5. If money were no object, what kind of computer would you like to have?
- Pentium 4, top of the line processor. At least 1GB RAM. DVD R/W and DVD-ROM drives. Top of the line video and sound cards (nothing on the motherboard, please). 21" flat panel monitor. Network card and modem. External hard drive to store music in both MP3 and AtracPlus formats. Two hard drives with at least 120GB space each. Um... enough USB ports to handle everything I've got.
Did I miss anything?

1) What was the first song you remember hearing and enjoying on the radio?
I remember being a young'n in Pensacola FL, standing in my parents' bedroom, and hearing "Barracuda" by Heart. Not sure if I liked it at the time. Other than that...

2) If you could only listen to five CDs for a year, which five would they be? (Boxed sets can count as one CD. Sigh.)
- The Dark Side of the Moon, Pink Floyd
- A Passion Play, Jethro Tull
- The Jethro Tull 25th Anniversary Box Set
- In the Flesh, Roger Waters
- Crossroads, Eric Clapton (I think, just to throw something different in the mix)

3) What was your favorite year, music-wise?
1994. That was the year of The Division Bell from Floyd and Antenna from ZZ Top. Saw concerts from both tours. Wearing the shirt from the Antenna show right now, actually.

4) If you could witness one historical music event through all time, what would you pick, and why?
Tossup between the following:
- Floyd touring in 1972, playing what would become The Dark Side of the Moon a year before it comes out on album
- Floyd during the 1977 tour where Animals and Wish You Were Here were played in entirety
- Floyd's reunion in London at the Live 8 shows. Watching them on TV didn't do it justice. I would have wanted to be there to feel the energy.

5) Do you have a song that never fails to cheer you up? What is it and why does it do that for you?
Quite a few, actually... to name a few:
"Ape Man," "Come Dancing," and "Sunny Afternoon" by the Kinks. They're just fun to listen to.
"Time", Pink Floyd. Still trying to nail the solo. Also "One of These Days," preferably the live version from the Division Bell tour.
"My Head's in Mississippi" and "Give It Up" from ZZ Top. Good road songs.

We would strive for perfection, and the avoidance of Branson.
