Friday on my mind...

Interesting morning so far...

I just turned down even having a chat with a law firm about a two-week contract position to cover someone on vacation. Factors:

1. The firm's in Boston. On the whole, this isn't a big factor.


2. It would only be for 2-3 weeks, whilst someone was on vacation. Not exactly long-term, but it would interfere with the other potentials that I have out there.


3. It could cost me on average $15 per day for parking and commuter rail, as I will not drive in Boston. If I did, I'd be looking ar more than that per day for parking, more than likely.

I feel a little on the guilty side about doing that, but in the long run, I think it was a good choice.

Holy Cross didn't pan out. They went with someone else.

Julius went to the vet on Wednesday, and got a distemper shot. He was moody and touchy all day Thursday as his system became acclimated to the shot. He's doing better today.

Finally got around to seeing League of Extraordinary Gentlemen last night. I enjoyed it. Makes me wish I was involved in some sort of pulpy Champions game or something like that.
