Okay, when we last left our intrepid hero here, it was Friday afternoon. So, without further ado...

Friday night: Got home, and started in on making a stir-fry with chicken and carrots. I got to try out a couple of my new inexpensive kitchen knives, and the chef's knife works like a dream! However, neither of us really got into the food, so most of it went into the fridge. I wasn't sure if the chicken tasted quite right, to be honest, so I think I'm going to bin the rest. Nothing exciting happened. I watched JAG and Medical Investigation while [livejournal.com profile] silvara77 slept.

Saturday: Basically, this was a typical Saturday for us. We hit That's Entertainment, Tatnuck Bead, got lunch, and played our D&D 3.5e game. We stopped off at my parents' house to pick up a Christmas gift that my uncle Tim had sent. Lo and behold, but it was a beautiful antique Japanese sword! It's a little tight on the draw, but it feels pretty good. We had Chinese for dinner from Ping's Garden, and decided that apart from the fried wontons, we've had much better fare at Harvest Moon, especially the crab rangoons. My Mongolian beef was tasty, though.

Sunday: Typical start on a Sunday, with [livejournal.com profile] silvara77 going to mass while I did a quick run to Shaw's and Price Chopper. We just hung around after I came back, had lunch while watching candlepin bowling, and just relaxed for a bit before going off to a Christmas party. Now these were people that [livejournal.com profile] silvara77 knew from choir. I barely knew any of them, so a good portion of my time was spent sitting in a chair on my own, watching the last bits of the Patriots game, thinking "I have just about nothing in common with these people." Mind you, I was asked about the baby and my new job, so that sparked some conversation for a little bit. I also knew that I was the only polytheistic neo-pagan in the whole house, surrounded by Catholics. But, the Spanish Inquisition didn't make an appearance, so I was okay there. Dinner was some of the leftover Chinese food, and we watched some of the Redskins game on ESPN.
Odd thing about Sunday... before [livejournal.com profile] silvara77 left for mass and I went shopping, I had a mild case of lightheadedness. It stayed with me for a couple of minutes, and then I felt pretty much all right. Later on at night, sometime after 10pm, I felt it again while watching TV in bed. Strangest feeling. Perhaps my crit's a little lower than I thought, or I'm not getting a lot of restful sleep or something...

Ah well, back to the grind...
