Pink's Life
And so we come the the end of another work week.

I would just like to give a brief warning to my readers that there will be a period of time where I won't be able to do my daily posts, for obvious reasons. However, once the Big Event arrives, I will be making my way to the nearest internet-capable PC to make an announcement. Pictures to follow at some point thereafter. Might be hard to do as we don't have a digital camera, but I'll find a way to get them developed to a CD or something.

Here's something that irked me last night: W speaking about Gods-know-what, thereby pushing CBS' lineup back an hour. CSI wasn't on until 2200, which meant that I missed ER. I would have taped it, but our bedroom electronics have been dismantled since last Saturday, and won't be remantled (sic) until this Saturday. Probably no big loss, I'll catch it in reruns.
Also on the TV front: tonight is the series finale of JAG. Perhaps it's time that it did pass on. The dynamic of the show had changed. I don't think it's completely jumped the shark, but with two of the major characters leaving over two years, that completely changes things. Enterprise is also ending this season. Right now it has an interesting thread going on with the parellel universe where Starfleet is more into empire-building, agression and oppression. (First seen in the old series, the episode "Mirror, Mirror.")

Our bedroom furniture is being delivered anytime between 745 and 1045 Saturday. Freakin' early, if you ask me. But perhaps early enough so that C, Dad and I can catch a showing of Hitchhiker's Guide in the afternoon. After that, a nap.

On the "How am I feeling" front... better. Slept a little better, though could still do with a snooze after lunch. Sciatic discomfort has gone away for now, though I think I overstretched a muscle in my left calf this morning while looking for a book in the front room. (You see, I had to lean over a whopping pile o' kipple -- a couple of you out there will recognise the term -- in order to reach the shelves... and no, I didn't find the book I was looking for.) It feels a bit better now, but it felt a lot like the remains of a night cramp. (Gods be praised that I haven't had one of those in a good while.) All in all, I should be in decent shape to be moving stuff out of the bedroom tonight to make way for the bedroom furniture.

Anyone remember the timeframe in which I posted wedding pics and pics of our Julius? Friend of mine has yet to see them.

As of the writing of this line, I'm approaching the close of another workday, and another work week. Thank the Gods.
See you on the flip side.
