More Q&A nicked from Zoner...
1. Why do you live where you live?
If one means why Worcester, I would say because it's where I spend most of my life, from the age of six to present.
If one means the apartment, I would say it was because that Colleen and I chose to move to a place that was nicer, cheaper, and next door to two of our friends.
2. Why do you think modern houses stopped being two-story in all the upscale designs?
I haven't really noticed... maybe people these days don't like stairs...
3. Did you want (more) children? Did you ever argue about it with anyone?
I do want children. I've never argued about it.
4. Did it take you a long time to find someone (new)?
See, I'm not sure... I think it was only three months after I ended one relationship that I met Colleen online... and another two before we met face to face... so that's not so long...
5. Do you have patterned socks?
No.
6. Do you think it's hard to put CDs in the car stereo? Have you ever installed a car stereo?
Well... my CD player is external from the car stereo, so not entirely difficult. I've never installed a car stereo.
7. Do you revisit childhood foods as an adult? What are they? Why do those things have strong memories for you?
I would say yes... since I still eat candy bars, sugared cereals and the like. But then again, I consider my mom's beef stew and chicken cassarole as childhood foods. I've learned to make them, and even tweak them from time to time.
8. Wagon or tricycle?
I don't remember having either, only a bike and a Big Wheel.
9. Tea or coffee? why? With stuff? What kind? Why or why not?
If it was a choice, I'd go with tea, preferably lemon or orange flavored with lots of sugar.
10. Did you serve in the military? Good experience or bad?
Not me, though three of my friends have military experience... one of whom is in Iraq as we speak.
11. Library or bookstore?
I prefer a bookstore... Borders or B&N mostly.
12. Do you like chairs that move? (like lazyboy things with the foot rest levers, or rocking chairs (wooden or padded armchair style), porch swings, hammock/hammock chair)
Yes... they're very relaxing. However, I don't have any of that type.
13. Do you have a garden? Fruits, vegetables, flowers?
No, but the landlord grows stuff all over the place, and we have access to it all.
14. Do you obsess over your lawn?
Since we rent a flat, we don't have to.
15. Do you iron the shirts you wear or are you just a naturally neat person who just doesn't get rumpled?
I iron only if necessary. Most of my shirts don't look too bad wrinkled, if they get wrinkled at all.
16. Do you notice other people's shoes? If so can you tell the difference between the same shoes bought on sale like fashion magazines claim people can?
Sometimes I do... and no I can't.
17. Colored sheets? Did you pick or did someone else? If it was someone else, does it bother you that you didn't get a choice?
Yes, many sets in a variety of fabrics (either cotton, jersey, or flannel). Right now it's plain black cotton sheets. Most of the sets I picked out before Colleen and I cohabitated, but we have a few where we both picked, and a couple that were gifts. Doesn't bother me, since people know our tastes in colors.
18. Do you think the color and style of a man's bathrobe says something about his real personality that most people don't notice because they don't see it? What does your bathrobe say about you?
Bah?
I have two bathrobes. One's a comfy old blue terrycloth one that I consider my "sickday" robe. My other one's a thinner blue/black one with red trim... that's an all-purpose one, but I don't really wear either of them. My comfy clothes are the same clothes I wear to bed -- sweatshorts, sweatpants, and either a t-shirt or scrub shirt.
