Some good news for a change...

Just got a call from a recruiter...
Seems as if I'll now be working as a Tier 1 technician in a call center as part of a three month contract. They'll put me through a training program and all that... they didn't even bring me in for an interview! They need people now! The pay's not great, but it'll be better than what I've been getting on the dole.

More on that later once I know more.

The job...

Okay, here's the deal:
Company: Telvista
Location: Marlborough, MA
Shift: 830-1700, Tue-Sat
Description: Help Desk Call Center, mostly with laptop systems
Duration: Three months, temp to perm a possibility

Pros:

• Work


• Get to remain in my Sunday gaming group


• Mondays off


• Close location, like a 20-30 minute commute, depending on traffic.

Cons:

• Working Saturdays -- can't game


• Pay isn't wonderful, but it's more than what I get on unemployment.

I'll keep everyone appraised on how it goes.
