It's a bachelor's life...

Well, Colleen made it out of here just before 4am. I expect her to make it to Manassas VA by one-ish, provided the traffic in Baltimore didn't hold her up too badly.

Truthfully, I never really got back to sleep after that... and here it is, just after noon... got some errands done, dishes done up, stove area cleaned of that dry stuff that's in fire extinguishers (had to use 2 seconds off of it on Tuesday evening... brand new, now it's reading empty...)
Gonna get my head down after lunch for a bit of a zone in front of the fans. It may be only 72 at the airport, but it feels warmer in the apartment.

D&D 3.5e hits the stores tomorrow. However, instead of buying it at my local store where I'll only get 15% off, I'm ordering from Amazon at 30% off and free shipping. I can wait a few days for it to get here with some study material for my Network+ certs.

Normally, I should be home at night... except for Tuesday night, when I'll be bowling.

Okay... C's been gone for... 18.5 hours...
What did I manage to get done today?
Went to the store, stocked up on soda...
Got new drip pans for the stove burners...
Went to That's Entertainment (local comic/gaming shop for those who don't know)...
Put in an order to Amazon...
Dishes...
Inflate and set up the inflatable mattress in the living room (pseudo camping out, plus I don't like sleeping in the bed without C there)...
Read... not as much as I have been in the past few days, when I could get a decently-sized paperback done in a couple of days... This book will take a few more days than this..
Other than that... not a lot...

I'm bored as hell... it's too quiet around here...
If I'm like this after not even a day, I don't wanna see me after a week...
Gonna need to hit the store every other day just for more ice... (tend to chomp on it like you wouldn't believe...)
