Well, we didn't totally tank last night. We managed to take two. However, everyone's game was off. Nobody on our team gained any points on their average. However, by some miracle, we're not in last place... well, after this week, maybe...
Trish had her first strike this whole season.
All we can say is, "Okay, we didn't do so well this week, we'll come back slugging next week."
Secret? Just don't care about it, go up there and have fun.
However, there are certain elements around that sort of prevent that from happening, and you get that competitive attitude back, and that's what takes over your mind and tells you that you're not doing well.
The only person anyone on our team has to compete against is his/herself.
That's all I'll say on it.
Better times next week.

Low energy.
That about sums up the day, I think. It's only 1030 and I could do with a bit of a nap.
Of course, the weather doesn't really help at all. It's overcast, dreary, cool (probably not even 60° as of yet, and they think it's supposed to get to 70-71° today), bit damp, and heavy rains with possible thundershowers looming on the horizon for the afternoon and evening hours.
Depending on the weather, I may stop at the store for a few things that I forgot to get earlier this week.
When I get home, it'll be laundry, stick a chicken in the oven to roast (primarily for chicken casserole tomorrow night, yum!), and a bit of a nap...
Tonight after dinner, think I'll keep reading The DaVinci Code. It's getting rather good right now. Not much on TV to watch tonight.

Oh well, back to the world of dreams here.
More later as news warrants...
They're working on the fire alarm system in my area here. It's this mind/brain-piercing tone that's just way too annoying.
Puts a headache right on top of a headache.
Here's what a quiz on Tickle.com says about our cat Julius...

Your cat's a Tugger

Who knew a cat could tug at your emotions like that? Your cat's always doing things that get you right there in the heart. But that shouldn't be surprising considering their personality. There's just something about the way they roll over for a belly-rub, or race to the front door to greet you after a long day that's so endearing!
