Fog. I don't know what it is about a ground-hugging cloud, but I like fog. I like driving in fog. Not the thick pea-soup great fogs that you can get, but a fogbank that you can still have about 20m or clear vision. That stuff is great. Best fog I was in was on an icy cold day back in Amherst. I swear I could hear the fog freezing. I just had to stand there and enjoy the moment...

Redskins beat the Broncos at the Hall of Fame Game last night. [livejournal.com profile] silvara77 will be overjoyed at that. ("Yeaaaaaaaaah bay-bee!")

She also thinks that I'm going to be a bit grumpy this morning since I got about five hours or so of sleep. I don't plan on being a grumpy bastard until we start rolling tonight and I'm doing poorly. *chuckle*

I thought I had more to dwell on this morning, but this would be about it, I would think...

Carry on.
There are times when the day just seems to fly by, and times when it drags.
Today is more the draggin' type.
It's currently 11.13am. I've been here for over four hours. I have just over four hours to go before I can head for home.
Not only that, but I've still got 45 minutes or so before I can think about lunch. (Such as it is -- I have a choice between a can of chunky soup or a Dinty Moore chicken breast and potato nukable meal. The soup would be more filling, mind you...)
Don't get me wrong, I got a fair amount of stuff accomplished this morning, and I'm hoping to get a bit more done this afternoon...
I just wish the day would go a little faster.

Smoke me a kipper, I'll be back before breakfast.
