Pub Quiz

Well last night was the First Annual Pub Quiz at St Mary School Fall Festival -- silvara77's school.
Amongst the teams were me, silvara77 and my parents. There were quite a few teams of four indeed.
There were ten rounds of ten questions each, using different categories like general knowledge (hah!), science, movies, TV, sports, music and geography. We did manage to do two perfect rounds early on, and at the halfway point, we were ahead by four points. That boggled us.
So the second half is going on, and no one's really doing well. However, we stayed at the top or near the top in each round, and managed to squeak out with a win with a 2-point margin!
So, what did we win? We each got fifty bucks, and we'll have our names put on a plaque that will hang in the school. Of course, we'll have to come back next year to defend our title.
(Our team name was Johnsons & Johnsons... it'll still work next year, but maybe we should put the Johnson Five or something like that.)
It was rather fun last night, though it was getting cold late in the game...

Pretty chilly this morning too.
