The Life of Pink
Well it's Friday. Finally Frickin' Friday. And as I type this line, it's only 1015. This day may go slow. It would, wouldn't it?
Must remember to take my vitamins after lunch. I need the energy.
Then again, I'll need to know what I'm eating for lunch. Yesterday's fare wasn't so good -- a BBQ pork pattie tv dinner, and a ramen cup as a filler. Didn't feel quite right with that. Let's hope today is better.
Saturday is looking to be fun: haircut at 9am, then it's off to the Blackstone Valley shopping plaza for lunch and baby shopping with the 'rents. Oh, and some stuff for Julius as well.
In the evening, C's got a play to go to, so I'll be at home working on the house and making dinner for m'self. I'll make sure there's something for C to eat, too.
Tonight, we're heading off to Lowe's to yell at them for making key copies that don't work, Target for some sundry items, and dinner at Friendly's.
I missed the lunch list... but it's no biggie... I'll manage somehow...
Had one of those Dinty Moore meals, chicken with rice... edible, moderately tasty, but I can tell you that it sure didn't hit the spot. I don't know what would for lunch anymore.
Then again, I haven't had the chance to really cook anything in about a week. It's getting to me. Maybe that's why I'm in a bit of a funk.
I think the food blues hit Sunday night, as I was getting stuff for supper at the market, since Boston Market was jam packed. I couldn't decide what the hell to get for myself, so I ended up with a TV dinner that just didn't hit the spot. The sandwhiches that I got at the Fresh counter in the hospital were tasty enough, though. But lunches at work and pizza at the hospital just didn't do it. The only good lunch I had this week was that BBQ chicken sandwich on Wednesday. That was tasty.
But enough about food.
The day is going by somewhat slowly... slower than the past couple of afternoons, for sure.
In a couple of weeks, there'a a major broadcasting trade show in Vegas. I'm not going, I'll be here on the phones, but I've heard that it will be on the quiet side.
That'll be good... I think...
I've got to work on putting C's Cure CDs onto one formatted for ATRACPlus... all of her CDs on one disc. That's impressive. I plan to do the same thing with Floyd, Tull and ZZ Top, and work on a few others, just to condense things down for travel purposes. This is especially good since I gave C a Discman that can use ATRACPlus CDs.
Rambling done
Nothing more to report
Carry on
