Not a whole lot to report.

No news on the PC. Can't get a shipping update right now.

Anyone know about GreatestJournal? Looks like an LJ clone to me. Anyone on it? I'm not planning on moving there.

This weekend will involve going around to various shops and picking things up for the party, and deciding on the food. We're planning on bagels, deli platters, punch, and of course, cake.

(BTW, ryoga77, you and yours are invited. We just found the invite we wrote up for you, and discovered we hadn't put your last names on it.)

More later on when I know more, and when I'm more lucid.

A Laugh...

President Clinton was arriving back at Andrews AFB on Air Force One after a trip across the country. The Commandant of the Marines was there to greet him. He was surprised to see the President disembarking from Air Force One with a pig under each arm.
"Fine looking pigs, Sir," the commandant said.
"These aren't pigs, commandant," said President Clinton, "these are hogs."
"Fine looking hogs, sir."
"These aren't just any hogs, they're Arkansas razorback hogs."
"Outstanding hogs, sir!"
President Clinton held them up a little higher. "I got them for Chelsea and Hillary."
"Nice trade, Sir!"

Pink's Life 04282006 Part II

Okay, shipping update: as of about 11am, my two boxes are sitting in the UPS regional distribution point in Shrewsbury. Looks like they will be making me wait the whole weekend. *grumble grumble grumble*

I'm donating my two monitors to the church-run computer center across the street. Easy to do, and I won't have to pack them into a car to try and sell them.
Not sure what I'll do with the two oldest PCs. The PIII has some parts on it that are still good. Maybe I can do some secret salvaging, and build a system for Colleen to use at her desk. (After getting another flat-panel monitor for her, too.)


*sigh*
