Okay, so I haven't updated in a couple of weeks, give or take...

Memorial Day weekend was interesting, to say the least.

Saturday: 0400 (give or take), the three of us light out for northern VA to surprise my in-laws at their 40th wedding anniversary surprise party. Lo and behold, we realise that as we hit the Auburn town line that we forget the camera. So, we drive back, and we're back on the road around 430.
The trip down there was decent enough. Nothing memorable on the highways or anything.
We get down there and do a quick clean-up at the closest rest area to Manassas. We walk into Elks Lodge, letting Marcus take the lead. The look on Mom-in-law's face was priceless. She was in tears of joy at the site of Marcus, with us walking in behind him. The day was filled with party and relaxing.
Sunday: Another day of lounging. I hit Total Wine in Chantilly and come back with a case of assorted beers/ales/stouts/ciders.
Monday: Yet another day of lounging. Marcus has fun in the backyard with the pool and sprinkler ball.
Tuesday: Drive back.
Wednesday: Back to the world of dreams.

This past Monday I had another c-scope. All I can say is, drugs are good. This marks 10 years that I've had my condition. I've avoided surgery, though I can't say that I've been religious with the medication. I'm still a little crampy from yesterday, but I'm operating nicely.

More later as news warrants.
Out here.
