I'm getting antsy, and a wee bit annoyed.
According to the UPS tracking site, my two packages have not left the depot. They're still marked "In Transit," not "Out for Delivery." The phone tracking system just says, "They're on their way to you."
I've got everything planned for tonight: stop at my parents' place to pick up the PC; get it home, make a quick dinner (chicken strips with melted cheese on top, pesto gnocchi), get Marcus to bed, then start setting the thing up. Afterwards, make sure it boots up, get my and Colleen's user accounts set up, and install Dungeon Siege to see if everything works nicely. (I want to check out the graphics card and sound.)
Now, I know that UPS typically doesn't do their runs in my parents' neck of the woods until after 3pm, but still... not showing any updates since FRIDAY on the tracking is aggravating.
Is UPS shut down for the boycott or something? Does the Shrewsbury depot have that many immigrant workers, both legal and/or illegal?
Gyah.
Update on the PC tomorrow.
