So here's a brief rundown of the trip...
Saturday: Leave Worcester 0515, arrive Manassas 1430. Three stops for food/bathroom/fuel in total.
Dinner was at Foster's, who makes really good char-broiled burgers.
Sunday: Gathering with Colleen's paternal side of the family. Marcus was a huge hit with everyone, talking up a storm (still mostly in gibberish, but wonderful to listen to).
Monday: Gathering with the maternal side of the family. Again, Marcus being a huge hit.
Tuesday: Went to various points of interest around Manassas (read: bookstores, grocery store, lunch at Five Guy's -- better burgers, definitely better fries)
Wednesday: Saw brother-in-law's performance of The Nutcracker. Shopped in Chantilly (another used book store, Game Parlor, Total Beverage for a good beer selection).
Thursday: Went back to Chantilly to pick up Dad's Christmas prezzie. Dinner at La Tolteca with Wendy (old friend of Colleen's).
Friday through Sunday: General hanging about, a little bit of going back out here and there.
Sunday: NYE party at friends' of C's family. Left before midnight, but stayed up for the changeover.
Monday: Travel day. Left Manassas ~ 1100. Arrive Worcester 2200. We hit worse traffic coming back on the NJTPK. More stops this time, too, I think. Got to bed by midnight.
Back to the grind.
