eleventh doctor

it's the black guy -- paterson joseph -- the contestant in the game show with the evil weakest link anne-droid, the black guy who tells rose "you, you're an idiot, i'm helping you win so it'll come down to the two of us, i can beat you no problem."

paterson joseph has also played the marquis de carabas in bbc's neverwhere.

Re: eleventh doctor

He's also been on Little Britain as a contestant on "Numberwang" and was also in Jekyll, written by Doctor Who writer Steven Moffat and co-starring with also-runner James Nesbitt.

Re: eleventh doctor

This rumor persists despite Nesbitt himself stating he is not Doctor Who.

Now, that said, the other rumor [older, less certain] is Robert Carlyle of Trainspotting/28 Weeks Later fame. I'd vastly prefer that choice [or Nesbitt, for that matter], but Paterson looks like the heavy frontrunner based on Neil Gaiman's audio commentary from the BBC Neverwhere DVD.
