Well things are feeling a little better now...
Fingers are still a little stiff, but not as bad as yesterday.
Knee is feeling just dandy.
Sacro-iliitis/sciatica is still very much the literal pain in the arse.
Started on cleaning the house last night after Colleen got home. For the most part, the living room looks a bit better. Dining table still needs a little clearing plus a tablecloth more conducive to spring. After those are done, then I'll tackle the computer desk, which does need a good going through.
Watched a movie on cable that I haven't seen in a few years... Get Shorty. Great flick. Makes me want to read the book at some point. Maybe I'll like Elmore Leonard's other books too.
C and I have decided never to use Walgreens again for photo development. We took our wedding CD in, uploaded the pics, and promptly overloaded the machine. So, we load them a second time. They print this time, but we come up about 58 prints short. (Double prints, totalling somewhere in the 400's... 29 pictures wouldn't print, and at double prints, that's 58.) We have them try again, but they could get those same ones to print. Mind you, they're not a particular block... two sections didn't print. The CD isn't damaged -- we proved that by looking at the pics on our PC at home. Plus, many of the pictures are a little on the dark side when printed, but on the PC (and any prints we've done off of it at home) they look fine. So, Walgreens loses our photo business.
It's only a bit after 10am and I could use a nap already.
18 and a wakeup!

my two cents
The other thing to ask your doc for (especially for going on vacation and long plane trips) is a scrip of Neurontin, which was originally an anti-seizure med but has proven to be VERY helpful for helping ease nerve pain. I've used it and it's very good, side effects were just being a tad sleepy.

I'll see about the neurontin. The last time this pain came up, all they gave me was tylenol with codeine, most likely a weakened version of vicodin. Didn't do diddly.
I'll keep it in mind.
