One of those days again when it comes to lunch.
I didn't bring anything from home because nothing there really interested me, lunchwise. So, I popped over the road to the Park n Shop to see what was there in the ready-to-eat section. A couple of things caught my eye, primarily the turkey, but since I will most likely be having turkey tonight for dinner (picatta), I gave it a miss. Nothing else there really caught my eye.
So, I went to the Cumberland Farms. I could have gotten one of those nukable cheeseburgers, but I've been burned on those before, so I just opted for a Red Baron pizza.
I also picked up a Coke C2 to try. For those who aren't aware of this potable, it's a low-carb version of Coke. Here's my opinion after the first few sips: drink it only if you want something cold and wet. It's not that great. How do they sweeten it? By using both high fructose corn syrup and/or sucrose with aspartame. I don't like the taste of sodas with aspartame. I'd rather they use Splenda, since that actually tastes like sugar. But in this day and age, what can you do? Me, I'll stick with sugared sodas.
Oh well, enough of the lunchtime rant... my pizza should be cool enough to eat by now...
