Friday night wasn't very memorable...
silvara77 came home from her two-day Catholic School Teacher's Conference (with this day's bit at the Centrum -- excuse me, DCU -- Convention Centre) in the mid-afternoon. We pretty much binned the evening, scrounged up supper, and watched TV. The Red Sox vs Yankees game was rained out, so we watched our normal Friday night stuff (Enterprise, JAG and Medical Investigation without having to flip channels during commercials. All in all, that wasn't a bad way to spend the evening, as I was rather loopy for some reason during the day. Felt like I wasn't centered.
Saturday: Typical stuff: Gaming, especially since it was World Dungeons & Dragons Day, in order to help celebrate the game's 30th birthday. Afterwards,
silvara77 and I went to my parents' place for dinner. Mom made a wonderful beef roast with carrots and potatoes and loads of jus. I yummed it right up. For dessert, there was homemade apple-pear crisp, which hit the spot. The game was on, and it looked good when we left for home. After that, though, it went downhill for the BoSox, and they lost big. Dammit.
Sunday: Another day of gaming, then coming home to scrounge dinner. I didn't really feel like eating anything, so I just made some ramen for my wife (as she was feeling a bit chilled). I snacked on a little cheese while watching a couple of Good Eats episodes that I've never seen before. Right now, there's John Cleese on the Food Network, talking about wines. He's still got that infectious laugh after all these years.
Nothing else to report.
Carry on.
