It's been a while, so I might as well type up a few things, hmmm?
The Job:
I wish I could say that things were looking up. In a sense, they are.
I had a second interview with VNA (Visiting Nurses Association) yesterday, which made me feel good.
I was supposed to have an interview this morning with a company up in Maynard, but they decided to move someone into the position from inside the company, so there went that.
I have a phone interview Monday morning with Brandeis University.
I'm still waiting to hear about the position with TJX.
The Baby
On Tuesday afternoon,
silvara77 and I went to her OB for a checkup. We got to hear the heartbeat once again, which is always a special thing. We're at like 15-16 weeks right now. Our ultrasound appointment is on 30 November, and I hope to be there.
Family
My in-laws are spending this week in St Lucia, so we've been out of contact with them since Monday, I think.
My grandfather (on mom's side) is still in hospital. He just had a quadruple bypass, and was faring very well after the surgery, but as of yesterday, his kidneys weren't working well (they weren't doing so hot before the surgery anyway), and his lungs have fluid. My parents already made plans to fly out there tomorrow, and come home on Turkey Day. Wish I could go too, just to show my face and say hi and all, but I need to stick around here in case a job comes up.
End of report.
Carry on.
