Right, so... my day's a bit on the balanced side...

Good stuff in green, bad stuff in red.

1. Got information on a contract job to be a field tech, repairing computers and printers for a company just north of here... like Chelmsford/Nashua area. No probs with the area, I like it up there.


2. UPS shows up with half of my Amazon order -- earlier than the little slip of paper said they would try, and this part of the order was a few days ahead of their estimate. (My Network+ books)


3. My car gets mended -- alternator replaced (Gods only know what went wrong with it, guess it was just a bad one out of the box), new battery. Best part -- at no cost to me or Dad.


4. Go to the Post Office to pick up the other half of my Amazon order. (D&D 3.5 books) Why they sent half through the USPS and the other through UPS, I have no idea.


5. Go to Blockbuster to rent The Recruit. It's marked as a one-week rental. They tell me it's still a two-day rental. I had this happen to me last Saturday, and was told that they were recently told to start removing the 2-day tags on them. I complained about false advertising in the store and left sans DVD. I went on the website and wrote them a complaint about it. We'll see what happens now.


6. Go to Best Buy, get Spy Game for ten bucks.


7. Find out that I'm being passed over on the contract job because I don't have extensive experience in repairing printers. It's a rather specialized field, I think. They'll be hard-pressed to find someone who does both, and do them well, I think.


8. Got chinese food... now I have enough for several meals.


9. Get nice luvvins from Julius, the resident Maine coon here in the apartment. He's a real sweetheart.

If there was a point system to all this, I think that it would balance out with a bit more in the green side. Good thing, I guess.
We'll see how tomorrow goes...
