Right, so...
Now that the car debacle is over and done with...
Last night was my company's Christmas Pot Luck night. Everyone brought something. I brought lemon bars.
I was hired after all the Secret Santas were picked, but Santa still made sure that I had a gift -- a nice little clock from Brookstone. It's touch-sensitive, and tells time, temperature, date and a timer. Wow.
Also, everyone got to take a crystal bowl and cover, filled with Lindt truffles, home... even bigger wow.
I left around 630p so I could get a couple of errands done. But I couldn't cos the bank hadn't cleared my paycheck as yet, so... grumble there.

silvara77 destress a little, watched House MD, and sacked out.
So this morning, I spent an hour or so signing, sealing, labelling and stamping Christmas cards that went out with the morning mail from here. That's done.
Money's in the bank. Done.silvara77 gets paid today too. Yay.
Shopping list for errands at the ready.
When I get home, it'll be dishes, packing, and maybe a bite to eat should I get the chance.
Tomorrow morning, we'll get stuff in the car before I head off to work so that we won't have to deal with all that, we can just go.
