Well it looks like we're in for another snowstorm, and one hell of a storm at that. I wonder if and when people are going to start the whole panic shopping today? I'm not worried about that, actually, since we have enough food to get us by for a few days.
I'm not expecting
silvara77 to have school on Thursday. She's always worried when that happens, since I'm the one who has to drive to work. It's only 30 miles, and it's all highway, except for maybe a couple of miles. Haven't had a problem yet. I just take it slow and steady.
Plus, I now have the number to call here at work and find out if we're shut or opening late or closing early. That's a plus.
In other news...
This weekend is going to be a major attack on the disorganization that is our apartment. While C deals with the dining area, living room, and possibly some of her room (which will become the baby's room), I'll tackle the front room, clearing at least enough space to get her desk in there, along with some of her other stuff. Hopefully by the time the kiddo comes along, it'll start looking more like a hobby room than the storage area it's become.
We don't expect to go out for much, perhaps just a quick run to That's Entertainment and the market.
Work's going okay. There have been very long stretches of time where I'm the only one handling the phones and such, but as long as I can ask the other two guys for help when I need it, I should be okay.
C and I are going to make a point of getting together with other couples outside of the gaming world. Having brunch with Iain and Amanda last Saturday was great, and there's another couple that I know from here on LJ with whom I'm sure we'd have a pretty good evening, especially since C and T have one definite thing in common... (buns in the oven, as it were)
Plus, we haven't gone out to eat very often as of late, something we need to rectify, especially since Friday the 11th is the Fifth Anniversary of our first Face to Face Meet. (Oddly enough, that was on a Friday as well.) I know,
Nothing more to report.
Carry on.
