Pink's Life

So last night was a first: Marcus slept through the entire night. Of course, this was after a bath with lavender-laced baby body wash, so that probably conked him out nicely. It was a welcome rest from the crying and staying up during the wee hours.
He has a pediatric appointment this morning, then the whole gang's coming up here to have lunch with me.

Another note about home: I'm having problems with the PC. It's finding data in bad sectors and such on the main HDD, so I'm thinking I may have to do a clean sweep and a fresh install. This means doing backups -- making sure I've got my documents, downloads, RPG characters and such backed up onto CD. I started last night.
So if I don't get to emails during the evening hours, you'll know why. Big pain in the arse, but it has to be done. I should look into getting some imaging software so I won't have to go through all this each and every time.

Well Colleen, Mom-in-law and Mom just left with Marcus, having a nice little lunch together. Everyone came around to see the kiddo, who pretty much just zonked through it all.
Now it's back to the world of dreams, I guess.

*bowing down*...........you got the little one to sleep through the night already????? Holy bejesus, you guys are pros at this already! Do you really think the lavender really works? I've heard it can be very relaxing, but wow, that is very impressive. I think you both should write a new parents book! (and send me your first copy! ) :)

Aiyre slept through the night her first night home.. it really scared us. We figured something was wrong. If I recall, it was about 10am the next day that we woke her up, just to make sure she got some food. After that she wasn't really consistantly sleeping through for a while.
