*sigh*

Well... Colleen took the news about the job harder than I did... She's not mad at me, or at TelVista... but at the people who hired TelVista to do their phone support... She got home, began to have three or four shots of this Green Apple Pucker (nasty) so she could sleep... yelled at me, yelled at the world, yelled at her mum several times on the phone, even yelled at God once or twice, proclaiming that we can't catch a lucky break... I agree to a point, but I'm also of the belief that a buttload of good karma is due.
Another thing that set her off -- her court date on the ticket appeal is during her time away in Ocean City, and can't be rescheduled. If she doesn't show, it's $100 for the fine, all because of a computer snafu with the RMV... I'm hoping that someone can go in her stead, someone who was there when the ticket was given, someone who went to the RMV and got the new registration... namely myself. If not, we'll figure something out.

At least I'm still on their books as a call center tech rep for when an opening or new project comes up.
*sigh*
Sometimes it just doesn't pay to get up in the morning... or afternoon... or evening...
At least we're going bowling tonight...
