It's been a while since I've done an update, so here goes...
Bowling last Tuesday was interesting... I managed two below average strings and one above.
silvara77 Got an amazing 117 in her third string after two others that were below her average. Not sure what's kicking in lately, but we manage to pull something out. We took 6 out of 8 points that night.
Friday, I had to drive up to Manchester NH for an interview for another temp job with Citizen's Bank doing lug 'n' plug replacement work. Took over an hour to drive up there, and the interview lasted about fifteen minutes. It could have been done over the phone.
In order to avoid the hassle of Rt 3 under construction on the way back, I took Rt 111 to 119 to 225 to 2A to 13 to 190 and home... and I ended up driving right by
volare's street on the way back! Wow!
That night,
silvara77 and I had dinner at Tatnuck Bookseller with my parents. I had some of the best London Broil that I've ever eaten -- tender, tasty... took a couple of thick strips of it home, as well as a piece of chocolate layer cake (very rich!). While we were in there, it poured. Fortunately, the rain was over with by the time we left, but the dreaded muggies set in, and it was a bit on the uncomfortable side.
Saturday, we gamed our usual D&D 3.5e campaign. During which, it not only poured, but there was a great deal of lightning and thunder. You'd think Thor was on a drunken rampage. At least it got rid of the muggies.
Today (Sunday), nothing really big... quick trip to That's Entertainment, stopped at AC Moore for some beading supplies for
silvara77, brief run through Stop & Shop... then home to just lounge about and relax for the rest of the evening.
