Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer met with an untimely end earlier this week.
While on a practice flight before Christmas, he flew into a fog bank over southwestern Europe, and was hit by a number of seagulls.
He spiralled out of control, and ended up in the flight path of a British Airways 747, which collided with him over Madrid.
Authorities investigated the incident and said that the reindeer in Spain was hit mainly by the plane.
