CSI: Shrewsbury

So silvara77 rings me up just before I head out the door this morning. Day before classes begin at St Mary School in Shrewsbury.
Apparently, someone broke into the school, and into the offices.
The school grounds is yet again a crime scene, not even a year after last fall's tragedy with one of the carny rides at the school's Fall Festival.
She was going to go into her room for a little while and do some work before the day's offsite events, but she wasn't able to do so.
In the meantime, the resident wild turkey, Al, was following one of the custodians around the parking lot.

Maybe it was Al that broke in...

Pink's Life

What a drab, dreary, low energy kind of day.
This is the kind of day where, if I were home, I would want to curl up on the couch with a good bunch of reading material (comics, novels, etc), throw something good and/or mindless on the TV, gather up a bunch of munchies, and just waste the day. Lunch would be a classic -- chicken soup and a grilled cheese sandwich (possibly with some meat inside).

However, it's not that kind of day. I'm here at work, the phones are out, and it's pouring. Oh well.



I've just been thinking about what a year this has been for births. silvara77 and I had Marcus back in early May.
ladyinareddress had a son, Elijah, a couple of weeks before that. (He's cute, but Marcus is cuter, you understand ;).
lawful_evil and his wife have brought their second child, a son named Evan, into the world last night.
sfogliatella and silent_iniquity are expecting their first child sometime between now and the end of September, I believe.
That's four new kids in my little circle of friends. I'm not sure on the grand total of children when taking all of my friends into consideration, but there are quite a lot of them, I think. All at varying ages, too.

Kids... wonderful they are...
