I'm predominantly German, and yet that didn't score high enough?

It's been a good while since I've done a real update...
That's because it's been, for the most part, the same old same old.

I stayed home from work on Thursday, calling in sick. I could barely talk that morning. Hell, I could barely whisper. I rested my throat for the whole day, and it's better today. Still not 100%, but it's better.
So I get into work today, and it's Day 2 of using a new call-handling software package. When I left work on Wednesday, I was able to get into the system without any problems. Today, no dice. I'm not having any luck. So in the 2h15m that I've been here, I haven't fielded any calls.
This reminds me of a few Fridays ago when I couldn't get into the ticketing system for most of the day.

Big weather event coming in starting today -- 6-10" of snow, starting around lunchtime, then switching to heavy rain during the evening/overnight hours. It's all supposed to end around lunchtime tomorrow. Wonder how much snow we'll be left with when it's all over. Of course, I'll be driving home in the worst of it today. *grumble*

Something tells me I should have called in today, too.

I can see the outside world if I stand up and turn 135 degrees left.
Snow is coming down at a 45 degree angle from both horizontal and vertical, and rather steadily.
We know that the drive home is going to be piss-poor at best. Will they let us out early? Hells no.
