So here we are, another Turkey Day upon us, followed by the Grand Melee that is known as Black Weekend. It used to be Black Friday, the busiest shopping day of the year. I think it should be extended to the whole weekend.
My plans? Well, starting with tonight...
Heading to the market to get the fixings for Apple-Mallow-Yam-Yums, Colleen's signature dish for the holidays. At some point we'll also get something for dinner.
Thursday: Colleen goes to church, then it's off to my parents' place for the day, attacking the 22lb turkey that my employers supplied.
Friday: Haircut in the morning, spending the day on Operation: Monkey Room, which involves boxing stuff up in the front room in preps for swapping rooms -- Marcus gets the front room, and we move everything that's there into his old room (at least our desks, books, etc). Late afternoon, I meet with someone who may be buying my old Tracker.
Saturday: Family portraits in the morning. Afternoon spent on Operation: MR.
Sunday: Operation: MR.
At some point I want to fit in a trip to the comic shop. Oh and the air conditioners are coming out,and the fridge gets a cleanout as well.

Busy weekend.
I have already stated the only places I will go to during Black Weekend when it comes to shopping:
Any supermarket is fair game.
That's Entertainment.
CVS.

I will be avoiding any other retail outlet such as Target, WalMart, any malls, any large outlet centers, and the like. Even in an emergency will I think thrice.
