potch1214's latest quiz, so... without further ado...
Guess the artist/group and title, half point each. I may give extra credit for album as well.
1. Heaven sent the promised land, looks all right from where I stand, cos I'm the man on the outside looking in.
2. In the dark of the city backwood, something stirs then slips away. Law and order in darkest Knightsbridge, crime and punishment at play.
3. They found James Ambrose dead in his cell. A gaping gash in his arm had drained him down to Hell. No one knew for sure if Ambrose was his name. They called him Yankee Sullivan in early days of fame.
4. If you need some good hot grillin', try my burger stand. If you need a slice of thrillin', I'm the baddest in the land.
5. No short-haired, yellow-bellied, son of tricky dicky is gonna mother hubbard soft soap me with just a pocketful of hope... Money for dope... Money for rope...
6. You open the suitcase behind old workings, to show off the magnum, you deafened the canyon. A comfort, a friend, only upstaged in the end by the Uzi machinegun. Does the recoil remind you... remind you of sex?
7. We walk away with memories, and clutch them to our hearts. We're disembodied entities, we move in fits and starts.
8. I have always been here. I have always looked out from behind these eyes.
9. Tooth for tooth, eye for an eye. Sell your soul just to buy buy buy.
10. Boy, this punch is a trip, It’s o.k. in my book. Here, take a sip. Maybe little heavy on the fruit. Ah, here comes the dip. You may kiss the cook. Let me show you honey, it’s easy - look. You take a fork and spike 'em -- Say, did you try these ? So glad you like ’em, the secret’s in the cheese
