The New PC

Brigid (for that is the name for the new PC -- pronounced "Breed," Celtic goddess of wisdom, excellence, perfection, high intelligence, poetic eloquence, craftsmanship (especially blacksmithy), healing ability, druidic knowledge and skill in warfare) has been up and running for 36+ hours now, without any major hitches.

Over the past couple of days, I've installed:
Firefox
Thunderbird
MS Office XP Professional
Semagic
The drivers for our HP printer
GURPS Character Assistant 4
Dungeon Siege: Legends of Aranna

Colleen has started to use it for some of her schoolwork.
I'm still getting stuff reinstalled from the previous PC.
Plus, I've done video and sound testing with Dungeon Siege, and I'm impressed with the performance.
