It's late at night... 2345 to be exact.
I should be in bed.
I still have the following for the morning:
- Pack odds and sods into the clothes and Panic Bag. (If you need to ask about the Panic Bag, don't. It's not something I enjoy talking about.)
- Pack fun bag. (Working on CDs for the rides right now.)
- Do up the trash and get it out to the curb.
Alarm goes off at 0400. Colleen would like to leave by 0500, but I think we'll be on the road by 0530, 0600 at latest. We need to be in MD by 1600. I think we can make it in 10 hours for sure.
In the meantime, I know I should get my head down for a little shuteye. Maybe at 0030, after I get a few things recorded, especially for Colleen.
*sigh*
I've been known to thrive on last-minute preps, but this is ridiculous. Naturally, I had left a few things (laundry, dishes) to the last minute...
After we leave, my next contact will be sometime late Thursday. Don't expect anything until then.
Thanks to all who have wished us condolences. We appreciate them very much.
And now, on with the show, which must go on...
