List seven songs you are into right now. No matter what the genre, whether they have words, or even if they're not any good, but they mustbe songs you're really enjoying now. Post these instructions in yourlivejournal along with your seven songs. Then tag seven other people tosee what they're listening to.

So here we go...

"Time", Pink Floyd, The Dark Side of the Moon -- What can I say about this song? It has one of the best percussion intros, some of Gilmour's best guitar work, and probably one of the most underrated songs that are played on rock FM stations. I crank it whenever I hear it on the radio... especially if it's the original version. I like the three live versions that I have (well, officially released live versions), but the original is the best.

"Badge", Cream -- For some reason, if my mind wanders while I'm walking about at work, I'll find myself humming the bassline, especially the intro.

A Passion Play, Jethro Tull -- This is, basically, an album-length song, with a minor comical break in the middle. It took me a while to get into the album, and really appreciate the concept behind it.

This is a tough meme, as I haven't really been listening to music in the car lately... Imus in the Morning and books on tape.

"Shine On You Crazy Diamond", Pink Floyd, Wish You Were Here -- Again, more of DG's best guitar work. This is a song I find myself playing whenever I pick up the guitar. That and the riff to "Have a Cigar," a song that I'm sure is in Bill Clinton's iPod.

"One of These Days", Pink Floyd, Meddle -- One song of which I actually prefer the live versions, as the slide guitar is much more audible, and fun. What a great driving song!

"Jump Start", Jethro Tull, Crest of a Knave -- Again, just a great song to drive to, especially with the flute solo.

"My Head's in Mississippi", ZZ Top, Recycler -- Great blues/rock boogie. Goes well with "Give It Up" from the same album.
