Ten years ago: Age: 25. Working temp jobs and such as I had just graduated from college the previous year. No jobs for a fluid/thermodynamicist in sight, or at least not in the area. Living with my parents. Hadn't even bought my own first car as of yet.
Five years ago: Age: 30.silvara77 had been living with me for nearly a year. Living in a third-floor flat in a three-decker. Preparing to go to school for training to get my A+ certification.
One year ago: Age: 34. Living in our current digs.monkeymoo2005 was not even three months old as of yet. Working at my current job.
Yesterday: Alarm went of at 0545 sosilvara77 could get herself ready to head out and get blood drawn early on in the morning. Took care of monkeymoo2005 when he awoke. Grabbed a shower when silvara77 came home with breakfast for herself and the 'moo. Left for work, put in a full, rich yet unrewarding day. Stopped at Target, came home, played a little with Marcus, made dinner, and gave him a baba (bottle) so he could go sleepy. Cleaned up a little in the dining room, and then had a nosh while reading some comic books before bed.
Snacks I enjoy: Hummus with bagel crisps or pita chips, Chex Mix, chocolate, canteloupe (actually muskmelon in this country), ice cream...
What would you do with 100 million dollars: First off, pay off all the debt we have. Then buy a house. Set up Marcus' college fund. Give money to our parents for all the stuff they've done for us. Buy new cars. Um... hold a huge party for all of our friends -- in Jamaica.
5 places I would run away to: The UK, northern VA, Ocean City MD, Jamaica, and somewhere where you couldn't find us.
5 things I would never wear: Women's underthings, platform shoes, a thong, a frilly tuxedo, and a shirt with a hig-arsed bullseye on it (front AND back!)
5 bad habits: Procrastination, distraction, laziness, my diet, my medication.
5 biggest joys: Anything that Marcus does, being with my family, reading a good book, a good meal, a good night's sleep.
5 favorite toys: Marcus, computer, RPG stuff, TV (includes DVD player, I think), Discman
