It's been a long time since I've done any sort of an update, so...
The Home Front:
Things are pretty much the way they've been for a while now. We're still getting things sorted and organized so that we can move about the place without any risk of doing ourselves a mischief. Granted, it still may take a little while, and we're both working, then taking care of Marcus when we get home... that leaves the weekends.
Brother in law is coming up for a visit for a few days... and Mom in law comes up for Colleen's spring vacation week.
Colleen goes in for gall bladder surgery on 16 April. MiL will already be up for the whole week to help out. I'm not worried about the surgery at all. Colleen is, understandably, nervous.
The Job Front:
I really do like where I am.
The job itself is all right... answering calls, doing internet support, that sort of thing.
It's more the atmosphere, the people... lots of joking around, socializing... and the fact that I can pester the senior techs without having to ask "May I?" before doing so is a great benefit. Not like my old job, where I had several people breathing down my neck because I was the only person answering the phones there. The other CS rep at my old job was, for the most part, nowhere to be seen most of the time since he was promoted to CS Manager... over one person in the CS department... that was it. I had to ask permission to do nearly anything that wasn't related to answering the phone, and my call volume went up and up and up and up and up...
But I digress for now. Job comparison will be another post.
Gaming Front:
Looks like my Saturday group is starting up again... every other week, which is good. I'll be able to get a little gaming in and still be able to spend time with Colleen and Marcus.
Not too sure what I want to play as yet. I would like to play a Monk going into Kensai, but I have to see how the GM's world is written out.
Other than that, not much else is going on.
Marcus will be two years old in early May. Where in the hells did the time go? He surprises and amuses us every day with the new things that he does. His vocabulary is growing every day.
We just love him to pieces.
Out here.
