No no, not diving into SNL here...
Saturday: After a bit of a row with Colleen about the house, I managed to venture forth into the world for an afternoon of gaming, particularly Champions. The game didn't go as well as we has hoped -- our heroes had their arses handed to them, constantly being knocked into unconsciousness. Session only lasted four hours max, more like three.
I got dinner for Colleen (Quizno's), and ate with her before heading off to a new gaming group that meets about twice a month. D&D 3e, very very very Celtic in flavor. I have to rewrite my character since I can't be a full-blooded elf (half-elf is fine), along with a whole slew of campaign notes. Good thing it only meets twice a month, cos the 7pm - 1am sessions would kill me on a constant basis.
Colleen waited on the couch for me until I got home. She stayed home and cleaned and did a little bit of schoolwork. She's about shoulder deep in that stuff.
Sunday: Took Colleen to breakfast, then went to the Sunday D&D game. Again, she stayed home to do schoolwork. When I got home, I wasn't feeling so hot. I had stopped at the market on the way home and got me some Cup-a-Soup and some flowers for Colleen (which surprised the hell out of her). We watched the video for our Renewal ceremony, and then when I tucked her into bed, I was surprised by WZLX playing the Ian Anderson concert in Boston on his Rubbing Elbows tour... he was in Boston earlier this month, and I didn't even know about it! Damn!
Good show though... just him and some backing musicians without Tull.
Monday: Since I didn't have to be at work until noon, I went and ran errands -- which were pretty much done by 1030. Hadn't planned on heading back home, so I killed some time, came in a half hour early. My immediate supervisor's in Chattanooga (sp?) this week, so I'm on my own. I still don't have my Dell ID to take the tests as yet, nor do I really have a spot in the computer room to do my work. So it's more sitting around, do a few things here and there that I think may come in handy once I start up. If I don't hear from anyone on the Dell ID, I may leg it around 7 or so...
More later as news warrants...
