Or...
"I'm 37."
"What?"
"I'm 37, I'm not old..."
So who else has this day with me?
1737 - John Hancock, American statesman (d. 1793)
1855 - John Moses Browning, American inventor (d. 1926) (Holy shoot!!!)
1888 - Leadbelly, American blues and folk musician (d. 1949)
1898 - Randolph Scott, American actor (d. 1987)
1919 - Ernie Kovacs, American comedian (d. 1962)
1939 - Sonny Chiba, Japanese actor and martial artist
1943 - Gil Gerard, American actor
1944 - Rutger Hauer, Dutch actor
1950 - Richard Dean Anderson, American actor
1952 - Robin Zander, American singer (Cheap Trick)
1957 - Princess Caroline of Monaco
1963 - Gail O'Grady, American actress (NYPD Blue)
1964 - Mariska Hargitay, American actress (Law & Order: SVU)
1974 - Tiffani Thiessen, American actress
1982 - Wily Mo Pena, Dominican baseball player (formerly of the Boston Red Sox)
And what made my day already was when I went into Marcus' room to get him changed and ready to go to Nana's... when I picked him up from the crib, he gave me a big hug and said, "Happy birthday" without any prompting or reminding. Such a smart boyo!

Happy Birthday!
What a contrast Marcus to my kids. Neither of them have the sense of what is going on to say Happy Birthday. Aiyre might be able to, almost, mimic the words, but Evan isn't even close to having that kind of linguistic skills yet.

The only objectionable bit he's picked up was from watching an old Doctor Who episode where someone said, "Damn!" He says that very well, even mimicking the British accent. Of course, we told him that's not a good word to say.
