Okay, here's an update from where we last left our hero...
Saturday: Gaming pretty much called off, which was good because I wanted to get some work done on the house. I did go to two markets for foodage in the morning, then I was going to prepare to do a little work. Colleen calls me up from a friend's dance recital, saying that her plans for the day are changing, and that she's going to get her hair done. So, she comes back after it's done, nervous as all hell... she comes in, and it's short. Not shoulder-length short (her hair used to be far longer than her shoulders) but really short, with so many highlights she looks almost blonde. I like it though. I may try to get a pic of her posted, maybe two as a comparison. So, after all this, I mostly get a plan for the front room devised, but I didn't really get anything done in it. But, at least I have a project. Later taht evening, we go to one of her birthday dinners with my parents, then come back and start watching the Hitch-hiker's Guide DVD.
Sunday: Not much of a day here. Colleen does some schoolwork, I start tidying up the living room and dining area for her brother's visit this week, we stop by at a friend's high school graduation party for about an hour, have Colleen roll-off since she won't be bowling on Tuesday, and just some general stuff. Nothing too exciting really. However, we do see one of the best episodes of Coupling ever. It's the second ep in series 4.
Monday: Colleen's birthday. If you'd like to wish her a happy hooptie, let me know, and I'll post you an email address.

Landlady called around 11 to say the plumber wouldn't be there after all, and would be there at 8:30 on Monday.

I wonder how many more times he's going to blow off fixing stuff?
