I know it's only Sunday, and the weekend's not over as yet, but this seems like as good a time as any...
Friday: Went out to a couple of places for a few quick errands before![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
paladyn came around to hang for a while. It was great to see him again. We definitely need to have a small bash-up before he heads back to Germany.
Saturday: Another quick couple of errands in the morning in order to get things in house before Charley made its appearance. So, it was the essentials -- sandwich meat, bread, soda, hot dogs, comic books... you know the deal. Later on in the day, we were prepped to go to Pawtucket for an evening of baseball with the PawSox (AAA baseball, farm team for the Boston Red Sox). However, we found out that if we got there early enough, we could catch the remainder of the previous day's game that was suspended due to rain. So, off we went with my parents. We saw most of that game, and all of the shortened main game (7 innings). Brian Daubach (Mom's favorite player right now) hit a homer in the second game, but the PawSox still lost 3-2. They won the first game, though.
Sunday: It's still early, but the plan is forsilvara77 and I to just have a nice, quiet rainy day in. We have the essentials -- soup, sandwich makings, Cheerios to make "Hot Buttered O's" in the afternoon, Olympics on TV... sounds like a good plan to me.
Monday morning I have an interview for a Help Desk position in RI. I know the implications of working HD -- I read the feed from![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-community.gif)
techsupport. However, I could use the job. Wish me luck.
