So I get to work...
I leave home around 0800, since I don't have to be here until 0900, really. I still get in early so I can settle in, check the voicemail, and do a couple of minor things before the workday begins.
I realise that I have to fuel up the car, so I do. (Odd thing is, my fuel gauge is a little on the wonky side. I filled it up this morning, it topped out, then when I get to work, it's already between full and 3/4 mark... as I said, wonky. It'll go up and down for a bit. And work's only 30 miles from home.)
So I get in... get my jacket off and all that, and don't realise that the heat in the building's out. So I leave my heavy overshirt on. I'm wearing like four layers right now. Feet are still cold.
I've been told as of about 0920, the heat's back on, but it'll take a while for it to really take effect.
Not only that, but my main partner here in support called in sick again. I'm the sole guy on the phones, but there's another guy here to help, since he's technically off the desk doing other things for the company. But he's here to help out, which is good.
On some other notes...
Birthday is Sunday. Basically taking the day off from everything, except for hitting the market for food and such, and maybe a quick trip to the comic shop, since I haven't been in a few weeks.
Not sure what to tell anyone to get me, since I don't really have a clue as to what I want. Just give me money and I'll buy what I want, I guess... especially since I want to order a couple of D&D books later on this month...
