Pink's Life

And so we come to Wednesday.
And a bit of a dreary one at that. Rain all day, possibly heavy at times. Bloody marvelous.

So to recap from yesterday, for those who hold an interest.
[livejournal.com profile] silvara77 had an ultrasound appointment yesterday morning. Afterwards, she had arranged to see her doctor earlier, like right then and there, instead of having to wait half a day and see her in the afternoon. Good thing too, as she began to not feel so well -- difficulty breathing, lightheadedness, and the like. Before she knew it, they put her in a postpartum room in the Women and Infants Center in the hospital, on her side, hooked up to a fetal monitor for a few hours. Along with that situation came the bloodwork. I figure that was to do a CBC and to check for diabetes, toxemia and pre-eclampsia. All the tests came back with good news, and she was released later that afternoon, with the very strong suggestion that every now and again during the day she plonks down onto the bed or couch, and lay on her side for an hour. A wise suggestion, if I may say so.
(So C, don't worry about the house right now. Things will get done.)

The nice capper to the day was the fact that her new credit card came in the mail. So after a couple of phone calls, Bob's Furniture now has the payment in full, and our gear will be delivered and set up sometime on Saturday. Hurrah for that.

Now this brings us to today, Wednesday.
What do I expect?
A normal work day, for one.
My final Aikido class for a good while (especially since it's the end of the series), for two.
A new ep of Mythbusters? Hope so... maybe a new Good Eats, too, who's to say? I'll have to check.

The Dice Bag
Okay, so there are a few gaming projects I'm working on...
Hack20, for which I know I will die from both sides. Hackmaster mated with the d20 system.
SOPFOR 7E, designed for Dark Champions and GURPS: Special Ops.
The Summerlands, a D&D 3.5e Celtic-based campaign, as soon as I get my copy of Celtic Age.
A Real American HERO: Sort of a GI Joe campaign, using the HERO system. This may be more for conventions, I don't know as yet.

As for regular gaming sessions, well... I'm off of those for the time being, until Marcus is fully settled in and is comfortable with what's going on around him. He's also the incentive I will have for making the front room into a nice gaming room.
Grand opening will hopefully be sometime this summer, after things get sorted, organized, shifted, stacked, etc.

That's all I have
Nothing more to report
Carry on
