And so it begins, another work week.
Where did I leave off last?

Friday night was rather typical for us. Marcus didn't get to bed until maybe quarter to 11pm this time, which was a bit better. I watched the season finale of Stargate SG1, and just sort of laid about until sleep overtook me.

Saturday morning had me helping to clean the place up a little bit and off to the market for a few sundries for the game. One of our regulars bailed on us due to the need to catch up on sleep, and we met our new player, who seems rather nice and should fit in with us, given time.
In the evening, [livejournal.com profile] silvara77, Marcus and I went to the Family Fun Fair at St Mary. There were no rides this year, after the tragedy that took place last year. The only physical amusements at the fair were some inflatable moon walks and some carny-style games run by the fair staff. We did the usual Italian dinner at the school, but we binned the idea of the Pub Quiz, since our teammates are also our babysitters. (We just told everyone else that without us, the playing field would be more level.) Before dinner, we tried to get in some mini-golf, and we got 14 holes done, but we saw a flash of lightning and the rumbles of thunder, so that idea was binned straightaway.
With the fresh air, Marcus got off to sleep a lot earlier than the previous two nights.

Sunday was somewhat the typical Sunday, but [livejournal.com profile] silvara77 took Marcus to the fair with her, as she volunteered to work a game there that day. While they were gone, I got a little cleaning up done, and caught up on some of the shows I had on DVR. Again, Marcus got to bed at a decent time after being out in the fresh air.
Family Guy had some of the funniest stuff I had seen to date on that show... especially the scene with Michael Moore. It had me rolling. Don't ask me to describe it -- you had to see it.

Back to the work week... *sigh*

We went back on Sunday but did not see Colleen. We eventually asked one of the coordinators and they said she was not scheduled to volunteer. So.. we gave up looking. We did end up staying for 3 hours or so.

She did go there with Marcus, but he started to fuss and cry a lot, so she came home early.

Apparently you guys came around before she showed up. She was told that someone matching Emily's description was asking for her.
