After a fashion, at least... might be a bit fragmented here and there... as I munch on breakfast.
Friday... I can't really remember a lot of Friday. I don't think I even left the house.
silvara77 came home, and we just lounged about. How exciting, hmm?
Saturday: We went for a late breakfast with my parents.
silvara77 wanted French toast, so we decided to go out. Our first choice was IHoP, but since it was thoroughly packed, we went across the road to Friendly's.
silvara77 got the stuffed French toast, but asked for apple topping instead of the standard strawberry. Our waitress said she would make sure it happened, but when she brought the plate, she said that the kitchen staff would do it... but just this once. That sounded kind of snotty to us. How hard is it to substitute apple for strawberry? Is the apple bin a few inches further away from the strawberry? I just don't get it.
Afterwards, we came home.
silvara77 started in on her schoolwork (mostly typing out her lesson plans to paste into her planbook), while I took a leisurely trip to the market. After I got back with the grub, I ran up to Greendale Mall to buy some blank CDRs for a project that needs to be done for her school's Christmas play. Afterwards, it was pretty much a lounge-about evening. I made a chicken and Rice-a-Roni dinner. I helped her with some of her work by going through a lab her kids did on describing different rocks, and we had to guess which rock in the box they were describing. Some of them did very well indeed.
We ended up sleeping in the living room, as she conked out early, and I fell asleep while watching This Is Spinal Tap on IFC.
Sunday:
silvara77 went to the late morning mass, and I went to Price Chopper for a few more bits of groceries. Afterwards, we went to our Sunday afternoon game, came home, finished up her schoolwork, and sacked out.
Now it's the start of another week... back to the grind of the job search and house cleaning.
That is all.
Nothing more to report.
Carry on.
